New Website in Test Phase

using Drupal and we are currently soliciting website developers to help us try out new features

New Faculty Positions
The CS department has completed two searches and made three new hires this year.

Dr. Olga Papaemmanouil will be joining us in January 2009
as a tenure track faculty whose research
is in Systems.

Dr. Xue (Bert) Nianwen will be joing us in January 2009
as a tenure track faculty member of the CS department in the Language and Linguistics Program.

Dr. Nikos Triandopoulos will be joining us in January 2009 for a one year appointment
in which he will teach courses in Computer Security.

Dr. Ed Loper will be teaching a course in the Computational Linguistics program in the Fall

Antonella DiLillo will be returning to teach our first year major courses (CS11 and CS21a).
We are excited to have these new faculty joining our program next year.
